DMetrix is developing innovative microscopic-imaging instrumentation that naturally integrates advances in optical design, digital imaging, telecommunications, and bioinformatics.
DMetrix instrumentation will standardize telepathology and other applications in which ultra-rapid acquisition of wavelength-of-light resolution, large-format image data is a fundamental enabling capability. The Company has developed a novel, patent-pending imaging technology that results in a minimum ten-fold acceleration in the rate of microscopy image-data acquisition relative to competing technologies. The founders of DMetrix bring together complementary expertise in optics, electronics, instrumentation development, digital image analysis, pathology, and telepathology. |
